Outrage of Pharaoh

Outrage of Pharaoh
In the book of Exodus we see the Pharaoh taking charge over Gods’ people, enforcing them to be slaves of the land. A Mosses was called by God to set Gods’ people free and bring them to the Promise Land. My brothers and sisters in Christ we today, our children, face this danger. Today in the state of New Hampshire a court ruled that a ten year old homeschooled child, named Amanda will be forced to attend government school. Amanda has been homeschooled for her whole life. She is on target with other children academically, and is evolved with sports and other activities outside of the home.
The court is forcing Amanda to go to government school because she is strong in her beliefs in God. The court is claiming that she is too young to know what she believes. This is treason against the United States Constitution of the 1st Amendment. “The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is the part of the Bill of Rights that expressly prohibits the Congress from making laws "respecting an establishment of religion", prohibiting the free exercise of religion, infringing the freedom of speech, infringing the freedom of the press, limiting the right to peaceably assemble, or limiting the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
According to what is stated above, the court does not have the right to prohibit the mother’s right to home school or to practice free exercise of religion. By law this case can be appealed and dismissed. However it should not even have to come to an appealing in the court of law. This is a very sad in America when a free state turns communist. It is a sad day to the Church when children are being prosecuted for their belief in the one true God.
This case is still ongoing and not much news has been posted about it. I will stay in tuned to the court hearing and get back with you shortly.

Skillet Awake CD Review

Skillet Awake
August 26, 2009, three years after Skillets bestselling album Comatose came the awaited new album Awake. Does this album match the greatness of Comatose? Was Awake worth the wait?
After waiting three years Skillet Fans (Pan heads) were nervously awaiting Awake to come out. The CD arrives, and fans are playing it over and over again, in hopes of something to spark an out loud, ”YES!!” Sadly this awaited release will be a huge letdown for those seeking Comatose round 2. Awake gives off the hard rock feel that gets your juices running but fails to keep the juice running. The lyrics are sung over and over for example in the song Hero, “I need a Hero, someone save me, I need a hero.” That single verse is sung over and over, as with allot of the new songs on the album. Needless to say the album fails to deliver what was seen in Comatose. Awake is not instrumental, and is slightly dull in both lyrics and chords.
Pan heads can still enjoy Awake; there are great songs to be heard, Such as “Awake and Alive” and a few great others. Fans of the band will still rock on with Skillet, still love Skillet. Skillet is not dead. New comers to the band may wonder what the big deal is. Fans this is a buy, new fans check out the older stuff.
Skillet does not shine in this record, but they are not dead. Skillet will make newer CDS, and will learn from mistakes. Awake is an alright album to listen to while working out, or just driving in the car. From a musician stand point, it’s a letdown. It’s not the end; it’s just another step to hopefully a Comatose round 2.
