Mans Church Part #2

Part #2
The question, what is a real mans Church? Before this question is answered with biblical support, I am going to point out key attributes that men have, or want. All men may have a different personality, but all men are the same when it comes to being a man. The first key trait is the thrill of adventure. As a baby turn into a boy, the more curios and danger he gets into. As we mature into our twenties we start to walk away from our mothers protective womb and our fathers don’t make the mistakes I did speech. We become full fledge male out for a wild exploration. However the Church wishes to calm men from this wild and free spirit. That turning is very unhealthy and non biblical. I will discuss that issue in the coming articles. Other trait men have, or want is boldness. No man wants to hide behind a flower bush when a snake is approaching. The man wants to stand up and not back down. The man wants to take the bull by the horns and call it out. The Church however wants to silence the man, and say, “Don’t speak like that, be gentler.” There is the problem, the church takes a natural born leader and turns him into a follower loving daisy. This teaching is not biblical.
The next trait a man wants is to be told the truth, not a watered down fairy tale. Lets take the book Wizard of Oz If someone just told the story of a young women fell into a dream, met a few people and took out the wicked witch. The chance of a man wanting to read this story is slim to none. However if we told the whole story, not the movie but the book, a man can really enjoy the book, and want to explore it. Same thing with the bible, men don’t just want one part of it, they want the whole thing. The Church seems to be focusing in on just one thing not the whole thing. That is very unbiblical.
True family is another character trait men want in a Church. If you have ever met in a solider into today’s times, he always says one thing.” I want to be with my brothers overseas.” There is saying among men and that saying is, “I’m my brother’s keeper.” In other words my brother is my life, I will have his back and he has mine. A brother does not need to be blood. Today in the Church there is no sense of real family, there are clicks and if you’re not a part of that well then you’re not going to fit in. There is allot of fake smiles, and fake hey yawls in the Church. Men know how to point out the fake ones, and truth be told men are not looking to be a part of the crowd. Their looking to be a part of the family. Not someone who will turn their back when something goes wrong.
